Course Description

This qualification provides the skills and knowledge for an individual to be competent in a wide range of general information and communications technology (ICT) technical functions and to achieve a degree of self-sufficiency as an advanced ICT user.
Persons working at this level will support information technology activities in the workplace across a wide range of ICT areas, including technical support, network administration, web technologies, software applications and digital media technologies.

Students who would like to develop their skills and knowledge to create further educational and employment opportunities. Students who have general interest in information technology and are willing to gain pathway into higher studies in the field of IT.

Graduates at this level will have theoretical and practical knowledge and skills for work and/or further learning.

Entry Requirements

  • An overall IELTS band 5.5 or equivalent
  • Minimum 18 years of age at time of enrolment
  • High School Certificate (Equivalent to Australian Year 12)
  • Students may have to meet the entry criteria depending on individual
